60 DAYS AROUND-THE-WORLD
TRIP WITH A PILATUS PC-12 AIRCRAFT
Photographer TOM SÓLO was hired to join serial-entrepreneur Morten
Sondergaard on his round-the-world trip to create photographs of this trip
of a lifetime called "SMILING
FLYER".
For you it may seem
to be easy going around the world with a private aircraft, all comfis,
and with the cash you need … but it's very challenging still! So
many different people, countries etc. in such a short time! Hours and hours
of flying, and after all, taking photos every day from sunset to dawn!
When
I was asked if I would like to join this guy to take the photos, I almost did
not take the offer for real. I was an up and coming photographer, sure, but
thought that a lot of pros out there would fight to go on a trip like this.
But I fitted in the team, could deal with everybody well and am very glad that
I took that chance - despite of all risks, which there are plenty!
